Accessibility Statement
Last updated September 5, 2026
Our commitment
Asoudeh Designs wants everyone to be able to browse our work and reach us, regardless of ability or the technology they use. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we have done
- Semantic page structure with one main landmark, a header, a footer and a single top-level heading on every page.
- A "Skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen reader users.
- Every interactive control reachable and operable by keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful photographs; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields with permanent visible labels, clear error messages announced to screen readers, and no reliance on color alone.
- Image galleries and slideshows with labelled controls, an announced slide position, and a dialog that can be closed with the Escape key.
- Text and background colors chosen for sufficient contrast, and a responsive layout that works down to small phone screens and when text is enlarged.
Known limitations
- Some project photographs carry short alternative text that describes the room rather than every detail of the design.
- Slideshows advance automatically on the home page; they can be paused by using the previous or next controls.
- We continue to test with screen readers and will publish fixes as we find issues.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, together with the screen readers built into those platforms (VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS).
